The Villa is located in the center of Varenna, a picturesque town, rich in artistic monuments located on the eastern shore of Lake Como, about 70 Km from Milan and traditionally popular tourist destination for the beautiful landscape. The country is well connected to major urban centers with good roads and communication facilities of the area are able to meet every need.
FROM MILAN
BY PLANE: from the airports of Milan Linate and Milan Malpensa are special shuttle buses direct to Central Station, from where trains to Sondrio/Tirano - then follow the directions following
BY TRAIN: from Central Station take a train to Sondrio/Tirano
BY CAR: from Milan take the road towards Lecco (SS 36), when you get to Lecco follow the road along the lake (S. Prov. 72) and then exit at Abbadia Lariana/Mandello/Varenna - Villa Monastero is placed along the road to the country, where there is also a convenient parking lot
FROM BERGAMO / LUGANO
FROM the AIRPORT BERGAMO (Orio al Serio) LUGANO (Agno): take the train to Milan, then follow the directions above
