40 future landscape designers spent a special day at Villa Monastero

On Tuesday 3 October, Villa Monastero welcomed 40 foreign students of the master’s degree program of Politecnico di Milano “Conservation and Management of Historic Gardens and Landscapes in Landscape Architecture. Land Landscape Heritage”.

Students were accompanied by their professors and guided by the architect Valerio Cozzi, works manager of the botanical Garden requalification project funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU. Students could discover the historical garden and the requalification project as part of PNRR.

The master’s degree has two modules: botany and arboriculture, and conservation of historic gardens and landscapes. The visit was an occasion to deep the landscape-architectural botanical and agronomic aspects.

The day at Villa Monastero was a very significant opportunity for future landscape designers.
