On the occasion of Father’s Day, Thursday, March 19th, the Province of Lecco is offering fathers accompanied by their children free admission to the House Museum and the Botanical Garden of Villa Monastero in Varenna.

Furthermore, on Sunday, March 22nd at 3:00 PM, the Explora family workshop will take place. Curated by CoopCulture as part of the Villakids educational program, the event invites children to discover Villa Monastero through the eyes of the fathers who once lived there.

The activity will begin with a botanical treasure hunt in the garden: participants will collect uniquely shaped leaves and stones to create a natural portrait of their father. It is a creative way to combine family bonds with the discovery of natural sciences and historical architecture, turning the young participants into “explorers for a day.”

The 90-minute workshop requires reservation (maximum 20 participants) at a cost of 10 euros, in addition to the entrance fee, which remains free for fathers accompanied by their children.
