On Thursday 13 and on Friday 14 July, a group of students of the Minoprio technical college with their teacher have done maintenance of the green in the botanical Garden of Villa Monastero. The school has an agreement with the Province of Lecco to increase the knowledge and awareness of students on environmental sustainability and gardening themes.

This activity is part of the PNRR project “Valorizzazione dell’identità del giardino storico di Villa Monastero” which includes experimentation activities and involvement of the school.

The students have had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about gardening, and maintenance works, and to evaluate the various types and timing of shrub pruning.
