Billiard Room
Located at the foot of the stairs leading to the area of the former convent church, now a conference room, it is defined by high pillars of different marbles and gilded stucco with capitals decorated with peacock feathers, like the entire fine painted wood panelling along the walls that once contained the billiard cues, no longer in existence. On the wall facing the lake there is a photograph of the last owner of Villa Monastero, the naturalist Marco De Marchi (who died here on 15 July 1936) who, in agreement with his wife Rosa Curioni, wanted to leave the house for public use.
