The Province of Lecco is presenting two candlelit musical events at Villa Monastero in Varenna.

The first event will take place on Tuesday, June 30 at 9:00 p.m. in the gardens of Villa Monastero and will feature MovieTrio, an engaging ensemble composed of Fabiano Maniero (trumpet), Alessandro Modenese (guitar), and Laura Pirri (vocals).

The theme of the evening is Great Music for the Cinema, featuring beloved film music classics and iconic soundtracks that have accompanied the history of cinema.

The concert has limited seating, is free of charge, and is reserved for visitors to Villa Monastero upon purchase of a Botanical Garden admission ticket through the following link: Admission – Great Music for the Cinema. In the event of bad weather, the concert will take place in the Fermi Hall.

The second event will be held on Thursday, September 10 at 9:00 p.m. and will feature Arabesques, a concert for flute and harp. As with the first event, attendance will be free of charge and subject to limited capacity. Further details and information will be announced in due course.

Residents and tourists alike will be able to immerse themselves in a magical atmosphere, with the lake as a backdrop, candlelight all around, and music providing the perfect setting for a truly special evening.”
