On Sunday 8 October, Villa Monastero will host the initiative La Villa degli Scacchi (the Chess Villa), promoted by the Province of Lecco with the collaboration of the Circolo scacchistico Boris Spassky of Lecco.
The day will be dedicated to the chess world, and it will be addressed to young people, educators, and parents. The event will be enriched with insights moments on chess themes, free games for experts and beginners, lessons, and youth team tournaments.
At 10 o’clock in sala Fermi: The conference Gli Scacchi in età scolare (The Chess in school age) is an occasion to understand the noble game of chess. There will be an introduction to the main theme, and the intervention of two psychologists to examine the educational perspectives. At the end, there will be an interview with Paolo Delmastro, author of the thriller novel Il primo cassette in basso.
From 10 to 12.30 in the botanical Garden: Gioco libero e simultanea (Free and simultaneous play), is a moment dedicated to experts and beginners.
In the afternoon from 14.30 in the tensile structure: the Torneo Mini Champions Chess Liga is dedicated to players under 14 with the supervision of a federal chess referee.
