Like last year, the event Ville Aperte in Brianza, (organized by the Provincia di Monza e Brianza), offers two special editions: the Spring Edition and the Autumn Edition.
The Spring Edition will be held on 29th and 30th of April, and on 1st – 6th and 7th of May, and only the Villas of Delight will participate.
The President Alessandra Hofmann attended the press conference for the presentation of Ville Aperte which took place at the headquarters of the Provincia di Monza e Brianza. She underlined the support of the Provincia di Lecco in the coordination of the different entities participating in the initiative, with the aim of promoting the entire province.
Also this year, the Provincia di Lecco participates with Villa Monastero of Varenna.
In the botanical Garden there are important requalification works thanks to the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan); the project will make the Garden even more charming.
The House Museum is closed to the public due to renovation works until May.
The botanical Garden, during the days dedicated to Ville Aperte in Brianza (29th – 30th of April; 1st – 6th – 7th of May), will be accessible with reduced fares and there will be guided tours (in Italian only):
- on 29th of April at 2.30 p.m. and at 4 p.m.
- on 30th of April, on 6th and 7th of May at 10 a.m. and at 11.30 a.m.

In occasion of the Spring Edition, on Sunday 7th May at 4 p.m., and at 5.15 p.m., there will be the concert Opera spettacolare, music by Verdi, Ponchielli, Puccini, Catalani, Gomes, curated by the Filarmonica “G. Verdi” of Lecco.
For the concert, there will be the possibility to participate in the guided tour (in Italian only) Un percorso tra scapigliatura e botanica a Villa Monastero, with the curator of Villa Monastero Anna Ranzi.
