On Saturday 2 March, Villa Monastero opens to the public, and the requalification works go at full speed to guarantee opening in total safety. The works are part of the important PNRR project of the botanical Garden, funded by the European Union NextGenerationEU.  

The plantation works continue, especially in the area of the nuns’ Garden. Restoration activities are also in progress: on statues, fountains (in particular, the Triton Fountain) and on balustrades.

The works include a significant action in the lighting system and the irrigation system.
