Villa Monastero: great success and satisfaction for the last event of Summer Nights

On Saturday July 25th the Province of Lecco organized the last of three events with Summer Nights at Villa Monastero in the fascinating location of Villa Monastero in Varenna.

The event was very successful and gave the visitors a nice opportunity to discover the House Museum and the botanical Garden and to be part of a dinner in the Garden with a wonderful view on the Lake.

Some tourists from the Netherlands and a group of people who already took part in a previous event were there as well. The event was meant to promote Villa Monastero to residents and local tourists and to give the opportunity to discover its beauties in an unusual night atmosphere.

The participants had the opportunity to admire the exhibition Fiori nel vento - Ventole e ventagli floreali dell’800, which can be visited in the rooms of the House Museum until September 27th and the botanical Garden with its new seasonal species.

More events are coming in August and September; the next one is the concert Il soffio della musica which will take place on Thursday August 6th at 9pm. Reservation is compulsory to participate (write us to the address This email address is being protected from spambots.
