On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of September, will be the European Heritage Days: the most widely celebrated participatory cultural events shared by people living in Europe. They are promoted by the Ministry of Culture and coordinated by the Directorate-General of Museums.
The 2024 theme is Patrimonio in cammino and refers to the European slogan Routes, Networks and Connections, chosen by the Council of Europe and shared with Countries participating in the event.
Villa Monastero takes part in this initiative with the exhibition Botanica dei sentimenti: erbari, ritratti, paesaggi di lago nell’età di Manzoni connected to the valorization works part of the important PNRR project of the botanical Garden, funded by the European Union NextGenerationEU.
During the same weekend will be the initiative Ville aperte in Brianza – Edizione Autunno, which allows visiting Villa Monastero with a reduced ticket: 7 euros entrance to the botanical Garden; and 9 euros entrance to the botanical Garden and House Museum.
